Many of our athletes have the drive and passion to play in the nationally acclaimed FBU National Championship, but not the necessary funds to chase the title all the way to Naples, FL.
For the second year in a row two of the Mass Elite All-Stars/FBU Football Team have won the New England Tournament held this past weekend in Newport, RI. The Mass Elite 6th Grade All-Stars beat NJ, 22-0 and the Mass Elite 7th Grade All-Stars beat NJ, 38-6 to secure the New York and New England regional championship. Both teams will now advance to the National Championship Tournament the week of December 17th in Naples, Florida.
The Mass Elite All-Stars FBU Football Team consists of many of the best rising football players in Massachusetts, and competes against regional champions from the Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic, Florida, Texas and the West Coast for the Football University (FBU) National Championship. Mass Elite alumni include numerous young athletes who have go on to play for Division 1 college programs.
Players are now beginning fundraising efforts to support the cost of traveling for 80 athletes and coaches to the national tournament in Florida to compete with champions from across the country.
* Lodging - $11,000 per team
* Transportation - $ 350 per athlete
* Food - $40 per day per athlete
* Total estimated cost: $52,000
We are half way there so whatever you can do to help with this great opportunity for these outstanding 12-14 year old boys would be greatly appreciated. 100% of the money raised will go to the trip to Naples
