My fight with cancer

Donation protected
Hello to all my family and friends. I love you all so so much. Anyone reading this who doesn’t know me my name isYolanda  or Loni im 43 from Minneapolis Minnesota. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope your having a great day.
It started in September 2015. I was having some pretty normal female issues and the Dr said I should have a hysterectomy. When I went to my follow up appointment he told me they found cancer. It was a shock to them and me because they had already ruled out cancer.  My MRI didn’t show it my paps were all normal none of the tests they had done showed cancer but there it was. I then went to an oncologist and found the cancer had spread all the way to my neck and chest. I was diagnosed with stage 4b metastatic cervical cancer. She said I had months to live.  She was wrong thankfully after I think 5 months of treatment I did get remission for about a year but when she told me I had months to live I planned financially for months. I didn’t have much money anyway because I was off work so I used what I had for medical expenses and didn’t pay my credit cards car payment etc.  I was about $12,000 in debt with medical bills and all at that time but was able to work again and with overtime I was paying it off. Until last summer. I felt a lump in my neck and of coarse it turned out that the cancer was back it was all over in my lymph nodes this time. As I was about to start chemo again I fell and broke my ribs so I was off work for 6 weeks and had to wait to start chemo. I then did 4 months of 2 chemos most the cancer was gone but the one in my neck had grown so I did another 4 months of another chemo and I managed to work a little through the chemos I was getting further in debt but getting by until this March. I got sick and was having a lot of pain. I couldn’t work and on March 16th ended up in the hospital for a few days. They said I have sciatica an infected bulging disk in my back and that my cancer had spread. The day I got out of the hospital I found out that my short term disability from work had ended and I would no longer get paid and worse my medical insurance which is very good insurance was going to cobra as of April until I’m back to working full time hours. I have no way to pay it. I applied for long term disability but I don’t know how long that takes or if I qualify because I plan to get back to work ASAP. Right now I can’t work until May 10th. I have chemo May 11th so I won’t get a paycheck until June at the earliest.
I am setting a goal to raise $10,000. I owe more than that but I will be able to work again and pay it off. I can feel I’m getting better. My emergency need is for $1876 to pay 6 months of cobra to keep my medical insurance. $2100 to pay my minimum medical payments for 6 months. $1314 to pay my April and May car payment insurance and phone $710 for used tires as I’m having to put air in mine almost daily and for gas and copays this next 2 months until I can get back to work. Anything over that would go to medical bills and medical expenses.
This is hard for me to do. I don’t like asking for help and so far I’ve been able to make it on my own but now I need help. Thank you so much if you donate, share this or send a prayer. Love to you all and thank you again for your time.
