Me and my family Lost EVERYTHING in a fire

On Wednesday September 25th my home was destroyed by a fire, started by a faulty electrical outlet. While my family was not home at the time and I was able to make it out safely, our lives have been uprooted entirely. Everything we owned was destroyed by the fire - a lifetime of possessions, photos, clothes, furniture and electronics. My son, who has just started fifth grade, has lost all of his clothes, toys, books and his laptop to do homework and to play on, and his video game consoles to relax and play in his downtime. To make things worse I had only just had a hip surgery the week before. I'm unable to go back to work until December, and it has been a struggle to do the things I need to be doing after such an enormous loss - looking for a new place to live, shopping for new things for my son and myself, as I am barely able to walk at this time, and still going through physical
therapy and recovery from my surgery. My family needs help, and although I'm usually the one trying to take care of others I need to reach out now and to ask for support from those around me. I need help to rebuild our life, to give my son a sense of normalcy again, and to get back on our feet. Any small donation will help us to rebuild our lives and to get through this tragedy. "
