HELP HONEY

Hi everyone, I’m Jane and I am trying to raise funds for my dog Honeys operation, however I am going to run this in a way that everyone who donates will be reimbursed, and how I will do that I will explain here .

Honey is an XL Bully , she is now 4 , she is a beautiful girl , gorgeous temperament and has been unfairly labelled with the XL Bully ban , but just took it all in her stride , the muzzling , neutering, and not being able to run free anymore that tail has never stopped wagging !

She has a sister Boo, also an XL Bully who is as equally gorgeous as, but she is more of a Diva and she is definitely Alpha female in our little pack, Honey is in complete awe of her .

So we happily getting on with stuff through all the setbacks and part of our weekly routine was visiting a secure playing field with the pair a few times a week so they could have a run . On one of our visits Honey slipped hurt her leg and our lives changed again !

After a visit to the vets and an X Ray on the damaged leg it was discovered that she has torn a cruciate in her right knee. The only way this can be rectified is an operation to pin the knee.

Now I thought that this was going to be straightforward because she is insured however no . The problem is I have to pay for the op up front , the vets I am in don’t do a direct payment straight from the insurance company. The operation is £3900 of which I don’t have .

I have already paid over £600 for x rays and medication of which I have been reimbursed from the insurance company who have guaranteed they will also pay for the operation to pin her leg , but like I said above I don’t have a spare £3900 laying around, and to save this money atm would take a while , she is lame in pain and on constant medication so this needs doing asap.

My thoughts with this GFM is to raise the funds for the op on this platform, then claim on the insurance and reimburse every donor.

Hopefully I can raise the cash and she can have a happy healthy life and run about with her sister again who is also suffering cos she’s lost her playmate .
