MDACC Fellow's Hurricane Aid

Dear friends and colleagues,
As everyone is aware, Hurricane Harvey left its mark on Houston, leaving the city underwater, MD Anderson debilitated (see attached photo), and many our colleagues in the fellowship program there with damaged and/or flooded homes.
If you are in a position to do so, lets show our support to our friends and colleagues at MDACC. They will be digging out for quite some time, and maybe a little extra help will benefit some of them. Rather than sending a small sum from MSK alone, we thought that teaming with the rest of the SSO fellowships would be more impactful.
This would in no way be mandatory, and we can do this anonymously through GoFundMe.com. If you are interested, please follow the link to make a donation. We can collect money through this weekend, 9/3, and then we will send the money to the MDACC fellows to be distributed to those in need.
Regardless of your participation, the supportive gift will be on behalf of all SSO fellows, as a way for those more fortunate to help those less fortunate during this difficult time.
