<div>Dear Supporters,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's giving season and we need your collective help raising $25,000 to close out 2024. We encourage all donations to take place here or you may visit our <a href="https://www.coloradogives.org/organization/Sophies-Neighborhood" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Colorado Gives Day page</a>.

<div>Our year end funding is specifically to fulfill our phase 2 grant commitment to Dr Roland Baron of Harvard University. “Dr. Baron is internationally known for his groundbreaking advances in bone biology. His research is the basis for the development of novel therapies to prevent bone loss such as that in arthritis and osteoporosis.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Roland Baron’s lab is studying bone remodeling activity and cellular changes in MCTO mice. Along with Dr Fracesca Gori, Roland Baron’s lab has been analyzing a complete histology and histomorphometry of bone to understand the cause of the local loss of bone in MCTO. His work is dedicated to filling gaps observing MCTO mice to capture the changes that lead to ‘osteolysis’ in MCTO patients, through RNA sequencing.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please share this with everyone you know to help us meet this goal that will make a life changing impact. Any donation amount, small or large helps tremendously. <div>Sophie is one of ~50 people in the world identified with MCTO, a rare, progressively crippling genetic bone and kidney condition that gets worse as she grows up. There is currently no treatment that will stop the disorder from its path of destruction. Our nonprofit 501c3, Sophie's Neighborhood, was formed to change that as rapidly as possible, and you can too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us make a difference this holiday season before it is too late for Sophie and her peers.
