Andrew and I entered our marriage both hoping to someday adopt. We were blessed quickly with our two precious daughters when we got married. We thought we would try to have another biological child.
The following 3.5 years brought a lot of hard times. We were unsuccessful in trying to get pregnant for a year and a half. Then we suffered a miscarriage. Then we had a couple different situations that we thought would end with us adopting, but they were not to be. It just felt as though for 3 years we were faced with No's.
We got tested, but the tests all came back normal. We prayed and decided not to pursue infertility treatments. It was at that time that my heart more fully surrendered and 3 months later, things felt different... We felt a YES! We were ready to pursue adoption. Finally! We dream to bring another child into our lives and we dream to provide a safe place for a brave mother who wants to choose adoption.
In order for us to move forward, we need to have a large sum of money available quickly.
This has been a very long road. Thank you so much for your help in bringing our child home and for supporting the option of adoption! Our hearts are eager for what God has in store for our family.
