Lester Cauthon's Last Wish

Hi, my name is Rick Cauthon and this story is about my Father, Lester Cauthon.
He has been fighting serious heart disease and other health problems for over 2 years now. His health issues has basically confined him either to his home or in the hospital for the last 2 years.
He was in the hospital for several weeks in 2013, approximately 3 months in 2014 and now he is at St. Lukes Heart Institute and was admitted on January 15, 2015 and is currently there as of February 14, 2015 and we aren't sure when he will be released. He turned 70 while in the hospital in October 2014.
The doctors have told us that there is not anything else that can be done to improve his health, because he is too weak. His heart is under 20% and the pacemaker is keeping it beating at this point.
We were told on 2-12-2015, that his kidneys are failing. They are weaning him off some of the medicinces and giving him pain medicines to keep him comfortable.
He has been eating hospital food the best he can for over 4 weeks straight now. He was given the word that he can eat what ever he wants at this time.
He has always loved Colorado and he has hunted there for years and we have vacationed there since the early 70's. We last vacationed there in 2012 and took our ATV's and rode through the mountains and took in the sights and wild animals.
He was feeling very bad and weak and was in ICU. I printing some of our Colorado pictures of us riding our ATV's and of him standing in front of large Elk. When he woke up, he say the pictures hanging over his bed and he perked up and was more responsive over the next few days than he had been in over a week.
Later on he said that he wished he could go to Colorado one last time.
That got me thinking of a way that I could make his wish of one last trip to Colorado come true. So here I am reaching out to his extended family, friends as well as my friends and contacts for support to make this happen.
He is home now as of February 16th. I have purchased airline tickets for my Father, Mother and Myself to fly to Colorado on February 28th. I let him know about the trip on February 17th and new life was given to him.
