Mckenna Dinkel suffered a tramatic spinal cord injury on December 26th, 2014 while engaging in family activities over the holidays. After undergoing spinal fusion surgery in effort to relieve compression and further damage to the spinal cord, Mckenna was left parylized from the waiste down.
After many hours of intensive pyhsical therapy and challenged mental capacity Mckenna has regained a certain amount of control and function of the lower extremties. This has allowed her to attempt walking with a walker and forearm braces, while a long path of recovery still lies ahead.
The purpose and use of the donations here are with the primary goal of getting Mckenna "back on her feet" by relieving the stress of medical and living expenses, allowing her to focus on the task at hand.
