McKean Wrestling

Our wrestling season has kicked off and we have a lot of promising young wrestlers. Unfortunately, about half of our team (15)does not have wrestling shoes and cant afford them. They have worked learning new moves on the mat, running, and wrestled in their socks for the several weeks and have stuck it out. We want to keep them on the team and not put a financial strain on their families as we move into our regular season schedule. 

We also are looking to help our students afford gear such as sweatshirts, sweat pants, and shorts. If you played high school or college sports you know how much these items mean to the players and can bring well deserved validation to strong team they are creating. We want to give our student athletes the wrestling experience they deserve. We are a competitive team with dedicated kids who are eager to conquer this sport. Please help us as we continue to build our team and support our students as they try to become the best person they can be,
