McFarland Project

Coming from a poverty stricken area, the cross country runners of Donna, Texas have been provided the opportunity to run with the original McFarland USA state championship team members. With the daily struggles of surviving the week, these hard working kids are working hard to make this trip a reality.  Although life has dealt them a hard hand, their resilience and love of the sport keeps them going and a hope for a better future.
