Healing Stan

Hi  my name is Karmela, Some of you may know my story but some of you may not. My husband , the love of my life, Stan,  has been suffering for 8 years now with chronic pancreatitis which is complicated with celiac disease. This condtion causes him to have crippling,  debilitating pain any time he eats which in turn will cause him to become severly malnutrioned and then he eventually ends up in the hospital on a PIC line with TPN to build up his strength, Because of the severity of this illness it has  forced him into long term disability.   In these past 8 years he averages 4 extended stays per year, Some of which has resulted in experimental surgeries, infections, and life threatening complications.  By this, I mean one time he ended up getting septic due to an infection in his PIC line . Another time  he ended up with a 3 inch blood clot in his PIC line that gradually elevated to a  staph infection . When the blood clot began to disolve it unfortunatly  resulted in the blood clot breaking into hundreds of little staph infected clots that got  into his lung tissue.  He has gone through every other option  available including a surgical procedure involving severing  of the nerves to his pancreas . Stan has  been blessed with a primary care physician and a  gastroenterologist that has never given up on him or turned him away. However, we are at a point that they have referred him to an out of state surgeon for a very risky procedure that entails the removal of his pancreas, and spleen. Then they will have to transplant the islet cells from his pancreas , which produces insulin in his body. These cells will be transplanted into his liver in hopes that he will not become insulin dependent after the removal of the pancreas.
Through all of this we have depleted all of our savings account and have had to borrow against all other resources, leaving us with no other assets.  We are not the type to take any handouts , but through fervent prayer , God revealed to us the blessing of GoFundme.com. We ask your help in raising enough money to fund the travel expense to and from Denver  to San Francisco  and lodging which is not covered on our insurance . He is scheduled for suregery in San Francisco in March of this year , and will have to stay near the hospital for 6+ weeks following the surgery in order for them to  monitor his healing process, his insulin production, and to make sure no further complications occur.
 Any support ,of any amount ,   is welcomed along  with your prayers for Wisdom for his Dr's , comfort for Stan  while recovering . And total and complete healing of Stans mind body and soul !!!
