My college roommate has encountered unbearable financial difficulties. In an effort to keep her and her children's privacy, I won't share many details. She is a mother to the beautiful kids in the photo. Megan's husband of 23 years has a mental illness which has left the family in dire financial circumstances of which Megan was not aware until two weeks ago. If you know me, trust me and have extra money set aside for giving, please consider donating to the McDonald family. I can assure you that any donation made to Megan and her kids will go to food, housing, gas, utilities, the bare essentials and will help sustain them until Megan can find employment. If you aren't able to give money, please lift up the McDonald family in prayer.
Megan's situation has heightened my awareness for the comfortable life which I live and reminded me of Luke 12:48: " to whom much is given, much is required."
