International Cross Country Race

Hello!  My name is Grant Parkins and I have been running Track and Cross Country with the Berrien Springs Shamrocks since middle school and most recently earned a spot in the State of Michigan Cross run. This year I will graduate high school and have applied to the Naval ROTC program in Annapolis working toward a degree in General Sciences followed by five years of active military service. But before I go, I've been invited to represent the State of Michigan in the East Conference Cross Country Team's 2015 Down Under International Games in Australia.

It is an honor for me to be selected to join the team and a once in a lifetime opportunity, but it comes at a cost that is more than my family can bear by ourselves.
The cost for housing, meals, registration, and airfare is $6200.00
