Friends and family... please support Dustin McCuen and his family at this difficult time! Our beloved Dustin was injured in a work accident this week that left him with severe trauma to his arm. A sharp object severed deep into his wrist. Dustin was rushed to the E.R. that day after getting help from a kind neighbor near the jobsite. He will be going into surgery next week to repair his tendon and muscle tissue which were cut clear through, as well as to respair any damaged nerve function going to the hand.
Dustin uses his hands to make his living in construction, so this is very bad indeed and urgent! The doctors have suggested surgery to repair the damage as well as a recovery time of 3-4 months rest from work. This means he won't be able to work all that time and while his job offers workers comp, this really doesn't cover everything and it does not pay his normal salary which will hurt the family finances for several months. With a wife and 4 young kids at home the bills are NOT going to take a rest these months. Please help Dustin and his family at this very difficult time!
We'd love to get them some additional funds here quickly so D. can rest without worrying about what bills are coming in and just get the recovery process going.The family's four kids are all going to school next month and pre-school which all carry cost. The family has a mortgage and all the other bills that come with 4 kiddos...and we're not sure how much of the ER bills/surgery/rehab specialist will be covered or not. The McCuens are really going to need this boost at this time!

Please send your prayers as well! As many of you know Dustin is also a Christian minister and is deeply spiritual. He married my husband and I last year. We are all praying for his quick recovery and that the Lord will look over him during his surgery and recovery.
