Derek (Del) John McCormick
Del McCormick was tragically taken from us on September 3, 2018 in a car accident, leaving the McCormick without a husband, father and grandfather. Del was the cornerstone of the McCormick family. A hard working, traveler, music lover, man of the Lord who loved his wife and his family more than anything. He was always quick to bring a joke and his dry British sense of humor into every situation.
Unfortunately, the life insurance policy was in transition and this tragedy happened while he was without the insurance money that his family needs at this time to pay for their home, funeral expenses and all of the other ongoing expenses required to run a household.
Friends of the family are creating this campaign to help the McCormick family pay for or greatly reduce the amount left on the mortgage on the family home.
This gift is something we believe Del would have wanted to be provided for his family to ease some of the ongoing financial strain by ensuring the security of the family home for his wife, daughter, grandchildren and mother in law.
We would appreciate any contribution you could give to help give some relief to Del's family by providing the security of knowing that they will always have their home, while the family processes this tragic loss.
