McCordsvilleUMC Memorial Playground

McCordsville United Methodist Church is raising funds to build a new Playground in Memory of Matthew Clegg.  Matthew passed away in May, 2016 at the age of 7. He touched many lives in our church and we felt this would be a wonderfull tribute to the short life he lived. We hope this new playground will bring Joy and Fellowship to children of our church and to the entire Community for many years to come!

Our current playground is not designed for young children and is quickly falling into disrepair with several missing or broken parts.  Many repairs have been made over the last couple years, but repairs will not get it through another year.
Funds raised will go toward purchasing new commercial grade play equipment and to replacing the play surface with something safer and longer lasting.  Labor will be provided by members of the church and community.  The more money we raise, the more features we will be able to include.  Our Goal is to complete construction in May and hold a dedication on June 7, 2018 which would have been Matthews 10th Birthday.

Donations can also be made at the church by cash or check with "Playground Fund" on the memo line.
