Tamara's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, September 23, Tamara suffered a stroke and has been in the Neurological ICU at UNC hospitals. She has been in excruciating pain with blood still on her brain, but is showing no signs of permanent damage which we are thankful for. Tamara was supposed to go out of town this week to take a course with her company in hopes of progressing her career but this is now being delayed, as is her returning to work.

Tamara is still in the ICU, but is hoped to move to a step down unit soon for a few days until the doctors can make sure she is okay to go home. She has had two angiograms and both show no additional brain bleeds or aneurysms. The severe headaches and pain she is experiencing could continue for weeks and are expected to keep her out of work for two to three months. With Tamara being the only working income for her and her fiancé Fred, this is a big setback for them and will be a rough patch seeing that she is not eligible for short term disability.

Tamara, and her family would appreciate any help that anyone could donate to assist with paying day to day bills, medication that could be necessary, and medical bills that will be stacking up as she will be in the hospital for probably a few more days, and in doctors visits for the months to come.

Thank you again and please keep Tamara and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
