Bulgarian school and center
On 5/30/2019 Little Bulgarian School in Chicago closed the deal to purchase a property located at 820-848 Lee St in Des Plaines, IL 60016. The school building is the former Immanuel Lutheran School and the purchase price is $1.3 mil. The school provided 10% downpayment which came from raised funds.
According to the agreement with the city officials, LBS will have to build a brand new 63 car parking lot on the property. It is estimated that the engineering and construction costs will exceed $100k. Other improvements include replacing the floors in all the classrooms, painting and some minor roof repairs, estimated to cost $80k.
