Get My Family Home

Hello.  My name is Helen, I am a mother and a grandmother living in my hometown in Glasgow. Ten years ago my eldest son, David, decided on an adventure to work overseas teaching English.  He has had a great time over in South Korea, where he met his gorgeous wife Kim.  Kim is South African, from CapeTown and we love her dearly.  They married six years ago at a beautiful wedding and almost three years later they answered my prayers and I became a grandmother for the first time.  My grandson Morgan is the light of my life and the best time of my week is a Wednesday morning when I get to see him over skype. We have lots of fun doing the hokey cokey.

In December Kim gave birth to my second grandchild, a wee girl this time, Reese.  You will see from the photo how gorgeous they both are, and as mother of two boys, you can imagine how thrilled I am to have a wee girl.

Over the last couple of years David and Kim have been very keen to get home to Scotland, we were all shocked to learn that this was only immediately possible if he had £64,000 in the bank.  Without going to into our financial details, that's not something easily within our grasp.

Given the issues that the UK Government have with immigration, the rules are very strict around non-EU members entering the country.  This means that for my family to get home together, they would need to meet unbelievable criteria. We therefore need your help to reach the goal of my family getting home.
