Mbawemi School urgently needs its walls rebuilding

Mbawemi community School started by my mother in law, Mrs. Eness Mtonga, in memory of her late daughter Lisa who had suffered all her life from a disability. Lisa died in her early twenties. The journey that Mrs Eness Mtonga began all those years ago led her into running the Mbawemi community School. Her vision had since expanded to include over 100 children from the local community, this includes other children who are disabled like her daughter.

As you can imagine running a school like this is very challenging. If you look closely you will see that most of the walls of the school are made with mud, which when it rains heavily get washed away. That's exactly what has happened to Mbawemi School. Two of the classrooms have lost their walls to the relentless rains that come every year. It means the children have nowhere to return to after the Christmas break. They cannot be taught as all schools in Zambia have to be paid for, and most are much more expensive.

We are very worried worried about this dreadful situation and that's the reason for this video and the appeal. 

To finish the new schoolbuilding we need 10.000 Euros. From this money we are able to complete the building and buy all the necessary furniture.
