Maysen's Genetics Disorder

My name is Morgan Malik and I am a family friend of Maysen Thompson who is a beautiful, sweet, caring, energetic four year old who is turning five on April 30th. Anyone who knows Maysen knows that she can light up the room with her smile and outgoing sense of humor. Maysen has a genetics disorder called Global Developmental Delay Genetics Disorder that has caused her to have a developmental delay. It has been there since birth, but was not really noticeable until she was about a year old. Her fine motor skills along with speech development have been drastically affected. She has nine extra chromosomes in her body which have allowed her body to create its own set of DNA. She will be getting her official Autism evaluation/diagnosis in April and that will help with a positive plan of action. She has speech and occupational therapy three times a week not to mention the extra work her family and her have to work with. There is a ton of sensory objects that will help her overcome some of her neurological issues, but they are all out of pocket expenses and are extremely expensive. In addition to the medical grade equipment needed,  there are many doctor's appointments involving traveling to and from the medical center three times a month. A couple months ago Maysen was diagnosed with a dairy and nut allergy as well, which can become very difficult for her family as they try to figure out what she can and can not eat on top of all the other things. Recently, her family has found out that she can get some equipment that she could COMPLETELY benefit from. I am starting this gofundme in hopes that we can raise money to help her parents pay for such equipment since it will be all out of pocket expenses.
