Life is short and sweet, so appreciate every moment you have with your loved ones. With that, it breaks our hearts to say that due to a reckless accident in her home country of Guatemala involving an 18 wheeler truck, our amazing, loving mother, Mayra Victoria Corrales De Gutierrez, was taken from us. She was only 38 years old and leaves behind 5 young children ranging from 5 to 21 years old. There are so many milestones she will not be there for, so many memories we had yet to make, all taken away in a matter of seconds. She still had 5 kids to raise and without our mothers physical presence and guidance our lives will be changed forever. Our mothers funeral will be held in Guatemala where she will be buried next to her mother. Once we return to the U.S. we will have a memorial in her name with a date yet to be set. Any donation amount helps support her funeral and memorial costs and we appreciate each and everyone of you who loved our mother and us. Life will never be the same without her. La vida es corta y dulce, así que aprecia cada momento que tengas con tus seres queridos. Con eso, nos rompe el corazón decir que debido a un accidente imprudente en su país natal, Guatemala, que involucró a un camión de 18 ruedas, nuestra increíble y amorosa madre, Mayra Victoria Corrales De Gutiérrez, nos fue arrebatada. Solo tenía 38 años y deja 5 niños pequeños de entre 5 hasta los 21 años. Hay tantos hitos para los que ella no estará allí, tantos recuerdos que aún teníamos que hacer, todos quitados en cuestión de segundos. Todavía tenía 5 hijos que criar y sin la presencia física y la guía de nuestra madre, nuestras vidas cambiarían para siempre. El funeral de nuestra madre se celebrara en Guatemala, donde será enterrada junto a su madre. Una vez que regresemos a los EE. UU., tendremos un memorial en su nombre con una fecha aún por establecer. Cualquier cantidad de donación ayuda a financiar los costos de su funeral y memorial y apreciamos a todos y cada uno de ustedes que amaban a nuestra madre y a nosotros.
