Mayra and Dahlias Miracle

Our angel Dahlia Salgado has left us to play with the angels. She fought until her last heart beat. She left us today at 1:05pm and finally at peace. It has already been tough to be able to be here with her in the hospital economically wise and we are in desperate need of help of any kind.
I don’t know how to ask for help, but if you could find it in your heart to help with the funeral or any other expenses, please donate.
Thank you again for all your prayers and thoughts and whom ever has contributed already. I really appreciate it with all my heart.

I was living a normal life, going to work as an intern at St. Josephs, trying to get a good spot for a good job, taking care of my ten year old and not believing that I have a serious condition, a disease I was diagnosed with ten years ago called lupus. It struck my kidneys two years ago and I was on dyalisis for six months not knowing if I will loose both of my kidneys and if there will be a donor to keep me alive if my kidneys failed. (Lupus is an inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues. ) I fought for my life and changed many bad habits I had in taking care of my health to keep my kidneys and live a longer life than just 30 years to be there for my daughter. Finally, my nephrologist was convinced by some blood work that my kidneys were getting better. So during my discharge from dyalisis, I found out I was pregnant and facing a very high risk pregnancy. I denied aborting my child and moving forward to what ever would come. During my pregnancy, almost five months in, the doctors informed me that Dahlia stopped growing at 21 weeks due to my condition so the oxygen and blood she needed wasn’t flowing through the ambilical cord as a normal pregnancy would. The doctors told me that a c-section needed to be done.
Dahlia was born at only five months and has been in the hospital fighting since Sep. 2017, along with me and my condition. I haven’t worked since and can’t due to my condition and being able to be there for Dahlia and giving her the care that she needs to move forward and fight for her life. Four months in the hospital is and has been a nightmare for Dahlia. As for me, I’m usually in and out of the hospital due to my condition so there is no way I could keep a job and survive from no income.
At this point, there is no telling how long Dahlia will be in the hospital for. She has been transferred to a LA hospital for heart surgery and this stress is just killing me in not knowing what the future holds. If you could find it in your heart to help us out, it will be so much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and may God bless you.
