<div><strong>Protect Edgware. Demand the Right Investment.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Barnet has approved a scheme that will rip the heart out of Edgware — ignoring over 7,000 objections. But the fight is not over.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This plan is now heading to the Greater London Authority, where we still have a real chance to change the outcome. With the right legal advice and expert support, we can expose its flaws and press for a better future for our town.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What’s at risk:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Parking cut from 1,235 spaces to just 292 (only 42 for general use)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The safe, covered bus station scrapped for exposed stops on Station Road
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Broadwalk Mall demolished and replaced with shops under tower blocks
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>An experimental underground electric bus garage built beneath housing, despite London Fire Brigade warnings it risks collapse
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What we want instead:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Investment that respects Edgware’s suburban character
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Safe, accessible transport with proper parking and a sheltered bus station
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A town centre shaped around community needs, not developer profits
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We urgently need to raise £10,000 in initial costs for legal advice and campaign expenses, so we are ready to act fast at the GLA stage and beyond. Including the option of a Judicial Review ( which could cost over £50,000)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The community has come this far together — and with your support we can keep going.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Donate today to protect Edgware — and demand investment on our terms.</strong>
</div>
<div>(Any surplus will go to the Edgware Community Association.)
