Mayo Clinic Pain Management Program

Seven years ago, I started having difficulty concentrating, processing information, and remembering things. I also suffered from dizziness and unexplained trembling. Within a few months, I was unable to work at my job (as a software engineer), or even function at normal levels. I was diagnosed with migraines (one of the 25% that does not actually have pain with the migraine) and was referred to a specialist.
After seven years of treatments, mostly failures, I went to the Mayo Clinic, hoping for answers on how to get my life back. After more tests, it was confirmed to be Chronic Migraine (which means I have 15+ migraines in a 30 day period, I actually have ... 30) with aura. And the worse news was there was nothing I could do to stop them. However, the doctor did present me with a possible method of getting my life back under my control - Mayo Clinic's Pain Management Program.
This 17 day program (it's actually more like 23 days when you include weekends) puts me with a team of doctors, including neurologists, psychologists, physical therapists, and dieticians, all of which will work with me on an individual basis to manage "pain". Remember, I don't have pain with my migraines, but I suffer from an inability to concentrate, an inability to process information, a lack of memory, and dizziness (or "heavy headedness"). All of these symptoms will be discussed and a treatment plan will be recommended, tested, altered, and eventually finalized. This plan will attack the issues from all angles - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - and will allow me to regain some control of my life.
While my health insurance covers the medical bills, it does not, sadly, cover my living expenses. I will be living in Rochester, MN, close to the Mayo Clinic, for 23 days and require money for lodging and food. I will also require money for airfare to and from Rochester. The largest expense is the lodging.
After attempting to manage to gather this money for ourselves, it has become apparent we are not going to be even close to reaching the funds necessary to successfully complete this program.
Please help, as quickly as you can, by donating, spreading the word to friends, and sending positive thoughts and prayers.
