Maynard John Palmer

John "Maynard" Palmer was known to most all students and Teachers who went to/worked at the High School in the Wapato. He worked there as a Janitor there from 1977-2000. He worked side by side with Tom Serna.

John had lived at Emerald Care since 2007. He did not have any family members that we were aware of but did have Tom's family who stepped up to be his responsible people. John also worked at Wapato Presbyterian Church for 2 years as their janitor.

At this time, John did prepay for his funeral expenses but with the rising costs of everything these days it was just not enough to cover his burial. Debbie and her family are working on some fundraising as well.

Emerald Care is assisting the family with this go fund me page to help cover these final expenses. We are looking for 3,000 - 4,000 dollars to cover the remaining costs at the funeral home, flowers for the grave site service, remaining payment on his plot at the local Wapato Cemetery (near his parents). Any remaining funds will go towards a head stone for John.
