Maya's Educational Journey

This is my daughther Maya. She is in the 4th Grade at Vails Gate Highed Tech Magnet School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, Newburgh,NY.  She has been chosen to represent her school  at the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathway to STEM set to be held  in July 2018 at St. John's University in New York, NY.  This program is designed to give students the opportunity to explore personal strenghts that will prepare them for success in academics and later a career.
During her short academic journey, Maya has proven to be  an exemplary student with a thirst for obtaining the best education possible. In addition to her excellent grades, she sings in our church's children's choir and plays the cello in her school orchestra.  She  also enjoys drawing and sketching.
As you can see, she is a very well rounded young lady. She has been afforded this amazing opportunity that will enhance her education and put her on the path to a bright future. 
The cost for the tuition, room/board, transportation, and other trip expenses will amount to $2300. Any and all funds donated, will be used for this great opportunity.  Time is of the essence due to  a first come first served basis. Any dollar amount would be greatly appreciated.
$500 of the entire enrollment fee needs to be paid by 10/15/17 in order to secure her spot on a payment plan and ensure that she will not be placed on a waiting list. The entire payment is due by April 2018.
