Up With People is an international program dedicated to fostering relationships and goodwill across the world. Through a mixture of performance and community service, young people from around the world can gain a wider understanding of the world they live in and people of all cultures, as well as share their own experiences with others in twenty cities around the United States and the world.
My family has a long history with the Up With People program. My parents met while travelling in Cast B 1993, while my brother just returned in June from travelling in Cast A 2017. I hope to be following their journey with my own in Cast A 2018. However, I can't get there alone! In addition to working two jobs plus babysitting, I am asking for donations to make my trip possible. The total cost of the program fee is $17,500, including tuition, travel, and many meals over the five months I will be with the program.
