Maya state of emergency relocate fund

Hello I'm Tika and I have started this fundraiser for my friend Maya who lives in Zagreb, Croatia, where they have just set a state of emergency – catastrophe today due to a set of huge earthquakes that happened there starting March, 2020 with two 5.5. magnitude quakes and so far, following with a 6.4 magnitude quake that hit them on December 29th 2020, that completely tore apart everything within 31 miles from where she lives. Maya and many others are going to seek refuge to other countries now. Maya has a special needs son who is 14 and a 3-year-old daughter who are both deeply traumatized by these events, her son’s condition has gotten worse and ground is still shaking there daily, it’s very unsafe and they are all very scared for their lives and don’t sleep or live in a normal way. Buildings are torn apart and unsafe, as well as one of her mom’s flats has been announced as non-livable, the other is too small for a family of 5 and close to the main epicenter from March. They constantly fear of another big earthquake as ground is not calming and Croatia is very much seismic active as well as the rest of the Europe. Currently Maya is renting a place that is pretty expensive in Zagreb outskirts that felt all earthquakes strongly. If we can get the funds to get her and her family passports and essentials, she can seek for a shelter in one of the countries abroad, so I am asking from the bottom of our hearts to help get Maya and her family somewhere safe, so they have a chance of a better life for their children and not be consumed by the earthquakes devastating their country and lives. All they want is a peaceful night of sleep and life which is currently impossible to get in Croatia.
