In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, millions of Americans are being advised to stay at home. Unfortunately, this has created unsafe environments for many people who live with domestic abusers or suffer from domestic violence.
To help those who suffer in these uncertain times, we are strongly encouraging competitors and judges to donate to our fundraiser with the National Domestic Violence Hotline. The organization provides lifesaving tools and immediate support to enable victims to find safety and live lives free of abuse. Callers to The Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) can expect highly trained, experienced advocates to offer compassionate support, crisis intervention information, educational services and referral services in more than 200 languages. 100% of the funds collected will be donated to the hotline.
A private donor has agreed to match all donations made up to $2500. THIS is our opportunity to help make change where it is needed the most.
