Inside Job

My name is Ryan and I am asking you to help save my best childhood buddy, Max. Max is one of the most kind, caring, and intelligent people on this planet and the world is a better place with him in it. He is 39 years old and one day after Christmas he was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer).  He has a 50/50 chance of living without the appropriate treatment. To say our families are devastated is putting it mildly. Max is receiving chemotherapy and radiation at Mayo Clinic to kill the tumor and stop the cancer from spreading.  The costs are astronomical. He and his wife Mollie are living in an airbnb home, and may be spending 3-5 weeks in Rochester. Could you imagine being married, working a solid job with great insurance and realizing you may die and leave your wife with substantial bills? That’s not going to happen. We are going to band together as a community to lesson the load and to save Max! We are going to build up this couple and let them know how much they are loved.

Max is also on the list for a liver transplant. The reality is if he doesn't get a living donor, the chances of him living are smaller. Would you consider donating your liver? There are over 16,000 people waiting for a life-saving liver transplant. Only about 6,000 livers become available each year from deceased donors.  This is why living donor transplant is so important.
