Max's Surgery Fund

Many of you have met Max or know him through our facebook posts and endless photos. Max has also been an Ambassador Dane for Great Dane Rescue and AdoptADane over the past 3 years. He's been a wonderful ambassador for the breed and has helped to rehome almost a dozen foster danes. 

Max has had to have cruciate ligament surgery, and yesterday he broke his leg right on the surgery site. He is insured, but the out of pocket costs are starting to amount to more than we can afford. He is the most beautiful animal and deserves the very best. We are at almost $8,000 in vets fees so far with at least another $5,000 yet to go.  

Max's sister Belle is fretting for him to come home as soon as possible, but he will be in hospital for a little while at this point.  We all miss him and are sick with worry.  Max is the centre of our world and we are not prepared to make a decision that is between what we can afford and the value of his life. 

Asking for help is something that is not easy to do when we've always been a position to do the helping but right now we're really hoping just a little bit of Karma will come back our way. We are humbly asking for some help to cover these costs.
