Max's Kidney Cancer Removal Surgery

Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue desperately needs donations to help save the life of a happy, well-behaved 7-year old buff cocker, named Max.

During a routine test for urinary tract issues and upon further evaluation and tests, it was discovered that Max has a tumor in one kidney which is cancerous. The cancer has not reached his lymph nodes and the vet has recommended immediate surgery to remove the kidney. This must be done before the cancer spreads or Max will rapidly decline before this year ends.

Please help us pay for the surgery needed to save Max's life. Same as humans, he can live with just one kidney.

Max's foster says, "Max loves to cuddle and be told what a good boy he is. He is an awesome guy and is very partial to his Wookie Toy!" You can learn more about Max by going to our website: http://rockymountaincockerrescue.org/rmcr-dogs/max-y.

Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, stray, endangered and neglected Cocker Spaniels in Colorado and neighboring states. All our rescued dogs live in pre-approved foster homes and we carefully screen all our potential adopters to help identify their future homes are safe.
