Help get Maxine on the Mend

Maxine Wauchope is a netball icon on the Mornington Peninsula and has given so much to the sport.  A magazine article late last year gave details of her contribution to netball over many decades.  It also shone a light on some medical issues she was having.  A copy of the article can be found here, http://peninsulaessence.com.au/a-sporting-life/ 

Next week Maxine will undergo hip surgery at the Beleura Hospital in Mornington, followed by weeks of rehabilitation.  A few friends have discovered that the bed in her home in Rosebud is in an unstable state and will not be suitable when she returns home for rehab.  We're hoping to purchase an electric bed which will assist with her recovery and give her the comfort she deserves.

Maxine will be a little embarrassed that we've set up this page, but we are doing it anyway!
