PLEASE HELP THE "MAXSTRONG FOUNDATION"  -    www.MAXSTRONGFOUNDATION.org   to help protect children and  improve school bus safety for all children.

On October 30, 2018 Alivia Stahl 9 years old and her twin brothers Mason and Xzavier 6 years old were killed when a vehicle traveling down a highway blew through the school bus stop arm of the bus they were preparing to board and killed all three and injured one other young boy badly.   The driver has been charged with three felonies and a Misdemeanor, but to the best of our knowledge, still has full driving privileges.  

A recent national survey conducted by National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS) showed that more than 3,000 Near Miss Incidents occur in Indiana each day involving school buses.   A near miss in this case is described as a vehicle "blowing through the school bus stop arm" of the bus, but thankfully not resulting in Injury or death to anyone.    It should really concern all families more that the same survey says more than 550,000 Near Misses occur in Indiana alone each year.   That is 550,000 times a family was LUCKY enough to be spared from their children being injured or killed.      WE CAN NOT DEPEND ON LUCK ANYMORE!!!

Earlier this year, the Maxstrong Foundation, Family Members and Supporters of Maxstrong worked with Senator Randy Head and others in the Indiana Legislature to pass  (Senate Bill #2 / a.k.a. The MAXSTRONG BILL) it was signed by the Governor last week.  

Here are some of the benefits that Senate Bill #2 - The MAXSTRONG Bill will deliver:    It provides increased penalties for those who fail to stop for a school bus stop arm.  It also prohibits school bus drivers from requiring children to cross Highways and busy streets/roads in order to board or exit a school bus, it also authorizes schools to install "school bus stop arm cameras" that will help with enforcing laws and hold drivers that violate this law more accountable.   

We are currently launching a drive to raise money for "Bill Board Advertising".    We have already identified 3 billboards in the area (Rochester, IN) that we can display the BANNER you see above for three months beginning in August to help raise awareness and remind drivers that there is 

                                        NO AMBIGUITY IN THE LAW ....     RED   MEANS  STOP!      

All Proceeds raised in this current effort will be used to pay for "Billboard Advertising" for the three we've identified already and hopefully more that we will spread out through the area and through the state that we are reviewing with "billboard companies".

Please help us in our effort to bring more attention to the needs to help bring attention to school bus safety and help EVERYONE to drive with care so that NEVER AGAIN will any family have to suffer the loss of a child or children and NEVER FORGET the loss our family suffered because a driver failed to stop for a school bus stop arm camera and struck our three beautiful children killing all three and injuring a fourth child.
