Hi everyone, I am doing this GoFundMe for my miniature dachshund Max who got attacked earlier today by a much bigger dog and is suffering from two fractures on his lower jaw. Right after the attack, I rushed to Parkway Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Lakeland where I was informed that he will be needing surgery within a week which is estimated to be around five thousand or more. As of right now, he has a tape around his mouth to hold his jaw in place; however, he is in severe pain and can only eat through a syringe. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds required for his surgery, but anything is greatly appreciated. Even sharing this post is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A little bit about Max:

I got Max a little under a year ago and he has been such a pleasure around the house. He is extremely kind, friendly, and playful. My family and I love spending time with him and learning more about him. Max is a dog who loves running around and cuddling with everyone. He has truly changed my life and became part of the family. It hurts me knowing that he's in pain and I don't have the financial resources to help him.
