Max needs medical

Max was surrendered to the NYCACC just recently,  by his owner because they couldn't afford his vet care.  They said he had chronic diarrhea and other illnesses which then led to him being emaciated.  They didn't see to it to take him to the vet so they decided to drop him off at the shelter.

We received an urgent plea and it so happened a wonderful woman was looking for a German Shepherd and fell in love with him.  Reading his medical she thought perhaps it wasn't anything major.  We took him to the vet straight away for some tests and they came back inconclusive.  The vet said the next step is an ultrasound because this may be an intestinal problem or a bowel issue.  Whatever the case, it's going to cost some money.

But as you know medical for this boy is not cheap and we desperately need your help to help Max and his adopter. Can you help this sweet boy out skip a coffee or a drink to give Max your change? Anything at all will help so very much! Many forget about the dogs once they get to safety but Sweet gentle MAX is in the fight for his life please help him now!!!

So far he's had blood tests that were unremarkable.  He now needs an ultrasound in his second step to diagnose what is wrong with him.
