You may have heard of Max Johnson from our town. Max is the little boy who underwent an incredible journey to get a new heart transplant and went on to win a Pride of Britain Award after becoming the ambassador for a campaign to introduce an opt-out system for organ donation, which was approved by the Prime Minister.
Max's beloved bike has been vandalised with rear wheel stolen and back brakes and chain wrecked. This bike was Max's independence after months of shielding and he loved cycling to school and back.
I’ve set up a go fund me to get Max another bike and some decent security.
