Max was in a terrible motorcycle accident on June 8th 2017 around 10pm at the intersection by CVS on Hogansville Rd in LaGrange, Georgia. He was immediately life-flighted to Grady Trauma Unit in Atlanta, Georgia where he underwent multiple surgeries and has many more to go. Max suffered severe trauma to his right lower hip and leg. Multiple brakes and fractures in his right hip as well as his femur, shattered his knee, shin bone, heel and foot with an open laceration from his foot to his upper thigh as well as other lacerations on multiple other parts of his body. He will need extensive surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation for a full recovery. Max is a hard working man with bills to pay with no income in the foreseeable future as his rehabilitation will take months.

From Max Gay...... Thank you everyone for all of the Outpouring of Love ,Prayers and Support during this difficult time for Me and My Family. I have gone thru alot of hard and trying times in my Life but nothing like this .
I know that God has a Plan for my Life especially now and can't say enough how much my Family and Friends Near and Far , Old and New have meant to me this last week .
I have felt Every Prayer and every good wish sent ! Have actually worn myself out at times reading the messages of love and support . Keep um coming !!
Now an update on my condition ..... My right Leg was injured beyond repair , amputation was nessary to assure quality of Life . my hip was broken in two places and had to have plates and screws , the right Femur was broken and a rod was attached to the hip . I have a fractured left leg with a temporary cast . A little more surgery to do on the right leg (a hole in the knee that is open and will need skin grafts .
Have had over 25 units of blood and maybe more .
Had God not been by my side my Life would have ended right there on Hogansville Rd.
We have a Difficult Road to travel but I know he is by my side .
