Help with vet bills for Nanook

My mothers dog Nanook is a cute highly energetic husky. He is just over a year old and loves to play, go hiking, swimming, and currently has been enjoying the snow in Maine. Unfortunately with all his energy he tends to get into trouble sometimes. Today he made his escape out the front door to play outside, he thought the cars in the road looked like fun and unfortunately a car coming along hit our sweet Nanook.
Nanook was taken to the vet and has a bruised lung and torn leg ligaments. The vet is currently watching his lungs to make sure they're doing okay. He will need surgery on his leg. We are hoping to help cover costs for his surgery and for overnight vet stays as it is a expense we were unprepared for.
