Maurine Dorsey Family Rebuild Fund

Maurine has lived in Friendswood for over 30 years. Her family home was flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately she did not have flood insurance. While their home was in danger of flooding, her son walked thru the rising water to get to Calvary Chapel Houston located in Friendswood, to see if he could open the building as a shelter. Cameron opened the shelter and started coordinating rescues for those with rising water. Around 1:00 am Monday morning the water came rushing in her home and they had to be evacuated. Her family has been displaced from their home, lost furniture and appliances. All monies raised will help with additional expenses, cost of rebuilding and starting their life over.
