Mauricio Mancera Emergency Medical Expenses

My grandfather needs our help this year. 2020 has been a bad year for everyone, but especially for him. He started experiencing severe pain and unfortunately it took several days of driving around Caracas to be able to find a hospital that would be able to see him and treat him. He ended up spending Christmas in the hospital undergoing an emergency surgery for a colon tumor and a GI perforation which was making him extremely sick. Medical resources are especially scarce in Venezuela, to the point where as a patient, you have to find your own surgical supplies to give to the hospital in order to have the surgery, emergency or not. So the fact that he was able to have this surgery, was a miracle in itself. As a family we are all pitching in to help, but the costs for his medical care have been too much too handle, on top of all the chaos 2020 has brought. This will not be the only surgery he needs, and as we try to prepare ourselves for more medical expenses to come in the coming days, any help would be greatly appreciated as many hospitals ask for all the money up front before treatment.
