Hi everyone! I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in a 10-day mission trip this Christmas break in Zambia. With over 700+ orphans attending this camp, I will be in charge of a group of 8-10 children and will be partaking in daily activities as well assisting in their spiritual development.
Out of the 15 million people in Zambia, there are over 1 million orphans, which is the highest per capita orphan rate in the world. This huge number is due to the high death rate from extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS.
I am raising money to provide more children with the opportunity of being saved from terrible living conditions. Family Legacy has created a 130-acre community called “The Tree of Life Children’s Village” for orphaned children. The children come from backgrounds of abuse, poverty, child-headed households, and some suffer from HIV/AIDS. All orphans are in need of healing, comfort and a fresh-start!
Children at the Tree of Life receive not only a safe place to live, but the spiritual healing and educational development that they need. My goal is to raise $5,000 for kids who are in need of sponsorships & those that have been sponsored in the past but are no longer. It would mean the WORLD to me if you could donate anything you’re able to contribute to this cause, and also to SHARE this post…
Thank you so much for helping me better the lives of these children!
