To our community,
On behalf of the management team at Maum, we are starting this campaign in hopes of supporting our fantastic staff during these difficult times.
In the short time we have been in Downtown Palo Alto, we have been privileged to serve and get to know our many guests, many who have celebrated special occasions with us and/or are members of our neighboring communities. We are truly happy and honored to have been there for those moments.
Maum decided to temporarily close for a minimum of three weeks to prevent the spread of coronavirus before the shelter at home mandate was in place. We owe it to our guests, community, and our own team to pause in order to ensure everyone's health and safety. We look forward to getting back to doing what we love, but in the meantime, our Maum family needs your help.
We realize everyone is struggling in some way, but if you are able to, we hope you can donate to help financially assist our staff who rely on hourly wages and/or gratuities.
With this campaign, we are hoping to raise $25,000 to support our staff with expenses ranging from healthcare, rent, missing wages, and funds for food, and utilities to name a few. Through your assistance in this campaign, we know that we will be able to come out of this time better and stronger than ever.
From all of us at Maum, we thank you for your continued support and donation! We appreciate all of you, and we can’t wait to once again open Maum when the time comes!
