<div>Maui Padding Hui is currently a 501(c)(4) organization with an application in process to become a 501(c)(3) organization.  While gifts to 501(c)(4) organizations are not deductible as charitable contributions, once the IRS provides a determination letter confirming its 501(c)(3) status, all gifts received will qualify to be deductible as charitable donations.  We will provide you with a letter confirming your gift as soon as the IRS responds to our application. Please contact your tax preparer for advice about how this might affect you.
