Matt’s New Kidney for Our Happily Ever After

After a fun Thanksgiving Day 5k this last year my heart became full. Matt, the man of my dreams, got down on one knee and asked me to be his future wife. Of course I said yes! Fast forward to February of this year and those wedding dreams started crashing down. Matt is already a kidney transplant survivor but it came to his attention that the six year old kidney is no longer working. He is starting at home dialysis and will once again need a new kidney.  This year he turns 30 and already going through all this a second time. Hospital bills, medication costs and overall health costs are already starting to pile up. If anyone has ever loved someone who has needed a new organ or been on a transplant list themselves knows that it can be a long process before a lifesaving organ is received. In the meantime the meds and dialysis expenses as well as the time off from work once a kidney is found for him will make the bills overwhelming. We need help from you in order continue to keep our heads above water. I want the chance to walk down the aisle and say ‘I do’ to this spectacular man!
