<div>Matt Peters was a loving father, a son, a friend, a mentor, and a brother in more ways than one. His outgoing personality and heart-felt disposition have touched many of us across Acadiana. His sudden passing comes far too soon for the family and friends who enjoyed his jokes, his charm, and his love.

<div>Matt spent 30 years as a Sound Engineer, touring with national artists and helping bring out the best sound of local Louisiana bands in live performances. While music was integral to his life, he really found his calling as a dad when his daughter Kasey was born.

<div>After his untimely passing, his friends and family are raising money to help care for his <strong>14-year-old daughter, Kasey Peters, in his absence</strong>.
