Matthew Adams Scholarship Fund

Second City's Harold Ramis Film School is a year-long academic program dedicated specifically to comedy film. The curriculum is comprised of comedy theory, writing, and filmmaking, and each graduate is able to leave the program with their own produced work. Attached to the school is a roster of incredibly talented and successful advisors, including Judd Apatow, Steve Carrell, and Martin Short.

I am ecstatic to be one of the 15 candidates selected from over 130 applicants as the Harold Ramis Film School's innaugral class. The program couldn't be a better fit for my interests and is sure to provide opportunities I'd otherwise never have.

Tution for the year totals $15,000. As it is not an accredited university, there is no option of federal student loans. I have applied for the Harold Ramis Memorial Scholarship fund and am seeking out additional grants. I also plan to apply for a work-study position and will certainly be working part-time elsewhere.

The first-ever semester begins in August. To be able to pusue this opportunity would be truly unbelievable and make a world of difference to my career. I cannot express how much I'd appreciate your contribution.

Thank you.

Best,

Matthew
