<div><strong>INTRODUCTION:</strong>
</div>
<div>Our dear friend Matthew, known for his endless generosity, humor, and passion for building community, urgently needs our help. On the morning of December 2, 2024, Matthew was in a serious car accident in Banks, Oregon, leaving him with life-altering injuries: a collapsed lung, a fractured pelvis, and five fractured vertebrae.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As if that wasn’t enough, Matthew’s beloved dog, Bravery, fled the scene in fear and is now lost in a dense forest and ravine. Volunteers are working tirelessly to find her, but Matthew can’t join the search while recovering.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matthew is facing months of painful rehabilitation, mounting medical bills, and the financial strain of being unable to work. Let’s come together to support him in his recovery and help bring Bravery home.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>DETAILS:</strong>
</div>
<div>Matthew’s injuries are severe, requiring surgeries, hospitalization, and months of physical therapy. Until he regains his strength, he won’t be able to work, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you know Matthew, you know he’s the heart and soul of every room he enters. He’s the guy cracking fruit puns at farmers’ markets, supporting bands with merch sales, and rallying for social justice. He’s also the friend who’d give you his last dollar or drive hours to help you in a tough spot.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, Matthew needs *us*.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>GOAL:</strong>
</div>
<div>We have the goal of $50,000 to cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Medical expenses: Surgeries, treatments, and physical therapy.
</li>
<li>Living expenses: Rent, food, and utilities while he’s unable to work.
</li>
<li>Family support: Travel and lodging for loved ones assisting in his care.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we exceed this goal, any extra funds will go toward Matthew’s continued recovery and support as he rebuilds his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>CALL TO ACTION: </strong>
</div>
<div>Matthew has always been there for his friends, his community, and even animals in need. He’s the first to lend a hand, share a laugh, or give away what little he has to make someone else’s life better.
</div>
<div>Now, he needs our help. Please donate whatever you can—whether it’s $10 or $1,000—to support Matthew during his recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser with your network will make a big difference. Together, we can help Matthew rebuild his life and bring Bravery home.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>CLOSING:</strong>
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Matthew during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to him, his family, and his beloved Bravery.
</div>
<div>We’ll share updates on Matthew’s recovery and the search for Bravery as they unfold. Let’s show Matthew the same love and care he’s shown to so many of us.
